IN GENERAL
No virus can be sent via e-mail in the message body but only as an attached file. Never open attached files unless you are expecting them from the sender, even if the sender is someone you already know. In most cases this sender will have sent you the file without knowing it. If you have the slightest doubt, do ask the sender himself before opening an attached file in an e-mail.

What to do:
•UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES do not open the attached file. This is the ony action that can activate the virus.
•All you have to do is delete the e-mail BEFORE opening the attached file.

How to identify the e-mail
Typical virus file extensions are .exe, .vbs, .ini but this list is not exclusive.

Consequences
The virus will usually be sent to all contacts in your address book at its own initiative. This means to all persons with whom you communicate via e-mail. After it is installed on your PC, it will usually start corrupting files on your system. Other consequences will be to give full access to unauthorised persons to your PC and to other PCs on the same network.
