First of all to connect you need a modem, a telephone
line and a subscription.
Change your Network Settings
Step 1
Click on the Start button, move to
Settings and then click on Control
Panel.
Step 2
From the window that appears click on the Network
icon.
Step 3
From the window that appears (you have there the options
Configuration, Identification, Access Control) select
Configuration.
Step 4
In the list of The Following Network components are
installed there must be installed three components:
1. Client for Microsoft Networks 2. Dial
up Adapter 3. TCP/IP
If there are not installed you have to click from the
window there the Add button. And then add the above
components.
Step 5
Select TCP/IP and then click Properties.
Step 6
From the tabs there select IP Address.
Step 7
Select the option “Obtain an IP Address
automatically”.
Step 8
Click on the tab WINS Configuration.
Step 9
Select the option Disable WINS Resolution.
Step 10
Click on the tab DNS Configuration.
Step 11
Select the option Disable DNS.
Step 12
Click on the button OK.
Step 13
Restart your computer.
2. Create a Dial Up Connection Double click “My
computer”, Double click “Dial-up Networking”,
Double click “Make New connection”

Type Omninet for the computer you are dialing, and
select the modem to use for this connection.
Click Next.
Leave the code blank and type 90901606 in the
telephone number field.
Select Cyprus as the country code and click
next.
Now click Finish.
In Dial-up Networking you should see the Omninet
Connection Icon. Right click on it and select
properties.
Now de-select the option use area code and dialing
properties. Click ok.
If you want to create a short cut on your desktop you
can do that by right clicking on this icon and select create
shortcut.
Now you must configure your internet
browser.
